Grey Maple Damascus Hunter

Blade : 1080/15N20 ~128 Layers - Random Pattern - 6 1/8"
Guard : 416 Stainless
Handle : Maple Stabilized and Grey Dyed by Woodlab - 5 3/4"
Overall : 11 7/8"

Well here is the last one I've finished up. Nice that it's starting to cool off more during the day, perhaps I'll make it out to the shop more. Anyway, this one was finished up right before the Oklahoma Custom Knife show so I'd have something new on the table. Had a few pieces of maple dyed by woodlab to try out and play with and I used one of the grey ones on this one. Was quite pleased with the end product.

For additional pictures, hop over to my website, I've got a bunch of it there and figured linking would be easier than posting.

That's a nice looking knife --- I'd love to see a hot of the spine and handle area from the top. Looks like very nice work.

Hi Beau,

I think that is one of the best knives you've done.

Great job!

Thanks for showing.

Beau -- can you give us a report on the Oklahoma show? I'm considering going to it after the San Antonio show next year. Any photos of the knives? Did anyone else attend this year and have info?

Thanks guys, been gone to Tenn. for Bowie's hammer-in.

Murray, I didn't get any pictures of the knives at the show.
It was a good show, I didn't really sell anything. Some makers did, dad had said he heard some saying they did better at OKC instead of Tulsa, i did about the same *laughs*

Could have been more people there at it, but some construction was being done to the convention center it was held at, plus the economy could have an effect as well.

Lots of real nice knives at it though.

Closest to a top spine view is this one, but I can take one if you'd like to see.
