It's a rainy day here, so what to do? Hmmmm, let's take pics of knives!!! Grey days are the best for photography. Nice diffused light.

I took the paint off the Team Gemini today. I LOVE the rough and ready look. Perfect combat grade knife, ready to be used and abused. And thanks to the gorgeous Busse gals, I also received a nice pair of trousers for it too...

And with the other rough and ready blade, the awesome Swamp Rat Chopweiler...

Cool Pic Bradda from unda

Is it winter there now ?

Rob I was thinking about you and your Camphor Laurel over Memorial Day when I stripped my Mistress, Waki, Mastiff, Chopweiler and HRLM. I think I'll be stripping any coated blade I buy from now on.

Can I strip a B11 or will I melt the handle?

Nice Gemini!

Nice Gemini!

I'm not totally sure. Res C is apparently impervious to many chemicals. I would suggest trying a test spot in an inconspicuous part of the handle first. I used 2 pack reducer (auto paint thinners) to strip this knife. Works well.

Raw steel is awesome I reckon. I love the look of used blades.

NICE, Rob!!!!
I will be removing the coating on mine ASAP but have a small mod or two I'd like to do first. ;)

highpointforge, the Res C on the b11 will NOT be affected by the stripper. I have a b11 that was stripped by the previous owner and it is fine.

Dimples ARE sexy!!!

Great pics Rob!!! I especially like the one with the TG up front and the CW in the background...

I love the look of stripped infi. It is all business... rough and ready for anything.

Great pics.

The Gemini and the Rat look great. The Res C is impervious to the baddest of strippers. I have a thread stripping a B11 with aircraft stripper and it works great. Anyhow great knives. I have to get a TG. It just looks so cool.

I just used klean-strip on my regulator no problems with res-c. I also electro etched the scrap yard lettering with a 9-volt, 2 leads, a qtip, and some salt water.

here you can see the laser dog head logo versus the etch they both used to look the same
