I was one of the lucky few to be invited to the Grimsmo factory tour back in January. We were given a detailed breakdown of each step in how a Grimsmo knife is made. All I can say is that the sophistication of the machinery and technical know-how to make knives with such tight tolerances is astonishing!

I decided at the time not to write a review because I simply don’t have the technical knowledge to explain all the machinery but in retrospect, I think it is still very worthwhile to share my pics. So this will be more of a pic dump than one of my classic reviews and I hope you enjoy it!

nice pics, thanks for sharing with us.....but im assuming they let ya take the pics and are okay with ya posting them?

I assume you often make nonsensical accusatory posts on an open forum?

just asking. I know factory tours in my industry they dont like pictures taken or shown...

Which gismo makes them spoon blades ? ;)

The pocket dump was interesting , especially the impact weapons .

The "horn spike hammer " was my fav for weirdness .

Thanks for the tour.

Not my type of knife, but that's a pretty impressive collection of high-end machine tools there. KERN is about as precise as you can get.
