I was selected for the Norsemen makers choice so that means you can pick the blade, design and colors. I chose the design and blade and let them chose the colors. I think it turned out well. Do y'all think its worth the price? The crappy part is about a week after I sent this in I got selected for makers choice for the Rask, what I really wanted all along. Just my luck 😄! Hmmm. I'd have to consider powder blue and light gold on a Rask. With an acid etched and tumbled blade finish.

Or I was drooling over this the other day.

I have two Norseman and one Rask, they are very different knives; but I don’t think you can go wrong with either.

I will say that the secondary market prices tend to be much lower than listed, so if you don’t LOVE the aesthetic (which IMO is really nice); you can find them cheaper with some patience.

*Edit* - seems you chose, in that case nicely done!

Unfortunately I had to pass on the Rask as I had already chosen this Norseman to be made. That's why I was bummed along with being excited for.tne Norseman at the same time if that makes sense lol. But I will eventually get a Rask, hopefully I have more time left than money. Y'all have a great day today!

I chose the Norseman first myself. It's such a machine. Took me a few carries to really work out and appreciate the utility of the blade. It's hard to imagine that such a large knife could possibly disappear in the pocket the way it does. I consider the blade as almost a unique mutli-tool in itself. Interested to hear your thoughts after some time with her.
 
Very cool knife! I have a similar story. After what feels like a couple of years, I pulled the trigger on a Makers Choice Rask. Six months later, I got the Buyer’s Choice invite, but had to pass (can’t afford two in the same year).

I hate to be an enabler, but I have to say the Rask is my favorite folder so far (I don’t have a Norseman yet).

I definitely need to make more money.
