Hello knife community. I have a question for the more experienced knife lover, since I’m relatively new to the hobby.

How easy would it be to sell a Grimsmo Norseman if I could get one in my possession? Would it sell for more or less than its initial cost? How much do they normally sell for?

Any help is really appreciated!!!

I'm at a loss, are you attempting to ask us what we feel you'd be able to flip a Norseman for? Is there some reason why you wouldn't buy it and just enjoy it?

I was selected from the company draw. But I really can’t spend that kind of money right now and feel good about myself
I would love to have it in my hands for a once in a lifetime experience. But if I buy this one I would sadly have to sell it.
Maybe one day I can buy one and actually keep it, but that day is not today.

I was just asking to see if I could get my money I spent back on the secondary market.

Ah, so your intent was to flip it. Understood.

My intent was not to be malicious. My intent was to see if I could make the purchase without breaking my bank account. To see if I could make the purchase at all or pass on the opportunity to hold a piece of art.
I was merely asking for the value of a secondary market Grimsmo Norseman.
Thank you.

Now see, it doesn't always turn out badly. Sometimes members actually pony up for the proper membership and don't act a fool.

Kudos.

I hope you meant recouping your funds from the knife and not charging an arm and a leg tax to the next guy. Although, if you turned a small profit, good for you as long as it's not a constant event.

I get the question. I recently sold my Norseman I owned for about 6 months. I carried it and used it (pretty lightly). After paying for shipping and PayPal fees, I was out about $100 after the sale. Worth it IMO for 6 months of joyful ownership, and if my name ever comes up on the list again, I’m buying another. I probably could’ve broke even or made a few bucks if I had waited around, but I wanted something else, so I sold it for what myself and the buyer agreed was a reasonable price for both of us. Hope this helps. And yes, I think you should go for it.

I get the question. I pondered this my self when I signed up for the draw. I'd love to hold a rask, but I doubt I could keep it.

Let me know what you do.

If you know you can't keep it, why not pass and let someone who wants one and CAN keep it have an opportunity to get the knife direct from the manufacturer?

I'm not attacking you for wanting to hold one, but why deprive a fellow knife knut from the chance to get one for themselves?

For the record, I find Grimsmo to be over-rated at current prices. They're the Hinderer XM from 2012 all over again in 2018. The bubble will burst.
