Grimsmo Norseman lock stick

Hello, i have recently picked up a Norseman, and it has some lock stick. The lock stick is not that bad, but it is my only knife that has lock stick. Anyone else Norseman have lock stick?

Have you tried giving it a firm talking to? Sometimes that helps.

Coat the lock face with pencil until it breaks in a little.

Too much oil? Oil on lockface can causes lock stick if so wipe the excess oil or try no2 pencil (graphite) or a sharpie, i'm sure it will break in eventually. Mine doesn't have a lock stick out of the gate. Totally unrelated but my Sigil used to have a lock stick but eventually and gradually dissipated so im sure yours will eventually.

thanks for the replies, I will try some pencil. I am running the knife with barely any oil. Not even a full drop of nano oil on the bearings, and only on the blade side. I did put i tiny bit on the detent, maybe that got on the lock face.
