Grimsmo Norseman sharpening

So I finally talked myself into attempting to fully polish the edge of my Norseman on my Wicked Edge. I am pretty happy with the results although it took a while since the front part of the blade is not a flat edge, kind of convex.

For future reference, if you haven't seen it, the maker has a little info near the start of this video on how to set the knife up in the W.E....

Mine was very similar to his in the clamp except I did the recurve area first and then adjusted the blade more vertically to do the tip portion. Only because when the blade was horizontal the stones weren't hitting the tip area as consistently as I wanted without having to reprofile it. Thanks for the video!

I also had to adjust like you did for the same issue =)

These are some of the smoothest knives I think I have ever felt... gotta be careful so the blade doesn't fall on your finger when closing!
 
They are great knives, I was hoping it was yours so I could trade you out of it.[emoji41]
