grind on my sebenza is off

hi guys,
few days ago I saw a video on youtube how quality control works in CRK. there was a guy who checked different parts of the knives. one of the test was that he placed his nail on the grind on the one side and rolled it to the other side to see if the grind is even on both sides. so I've tried that with my regular sebenza and I found out that the grind is about 2mm off. what is your opinion? is that kind of the variance tolerable on 400$ knife? what about your sebenza? is the grind even? let me know. sorry for the crappy photos.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1390248202.324461.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1390248213.823581.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1390248223.990890.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1390248232.557170.jpgImageUploadedByTapatalk1390248240.891213.jpg

I don't own a Sebenza personally, but Ive never seen a grind of by that much on any knife I own, only a pos gerber. I guess one got through QC there. If you're unhappy with it, send it in.

Why don't you ask CRK themselves? Generally speaking ~2mm off where you have it isn't a big deal, on the other side, knife with 0.0005" tolerances shouldn't have it...

Since you didn't know about it until you started investigating with a fine tooth comb, I'd say nitpicking. Keep your micrometer in your drawer and enjoy the knife as long as it functions to your liking.

I just checked the grind lines on my 2004 small Classic Sebenza and it is perfect. I wouldn't worry about it. If it bugs you send it in to CRK. They have great customer service.

didnt want to sound like I'm complaining. many guys here have sebenzas so I just wanted to know how their grinds are. btw. mine is 2000 in BG42. maybe that time they didnt check the grinds at QC :-D
