Grind on the HG-55?

Its primary grind is a saber grind with the corrugated bevel technology - CBT's.

Look just above the CBTs and you can see the saber:thumbup:

same as cgfbm

That looks to be an Urban Grudge of some kind. It could also be an HG-55 modded into an UG. Any better pics?

Chris.

I believe they were hollow ground with the CBT's.

Chris.

The MO have a convexed tip and hollow grind on the straight part of the blade. I think the hollow ground refers to the edge, not the primary grind. The picture looks like a Urban Grudge with CBT.

This one here is not hollow ground as far as I can tell.

And I agree with CPC, looks like an Urban Grudge

I had one EXACTLY like that (minus the shiny newness!! :P ) but it's a full flat grind. GREAT knife!!

The pic you posted looks like a UG handle on an HG-55.

Its possible it's a hg55 modded to look like a UG, and then sent back to the shop for recoating.

The seller answered, it's a flat grind...now I'm happy, because I do not like hollow grinds at all, even on an almighty Busse. I'm looking forward to this one, Busse doesn't have that many knives that I really like design-wise, but this one is just elegant...and stout, according to the seller +1/4'' thick.
