Grinder belts

Hi, what do you makers do with all of your old worn out grinder belts?
 
i throw mine in a 5 gallon bucket, i'm trying compress it into a solid block, for no apparent reason.
 
Whats the matter Db, they startin to build up on ya???

It's amazing how many used belts you can end up with in a short time. I save the 36 and 60 gritters for sanding handles and brass. After they're used for that, they're not much good for anything, so it's into the garbage can. The finer grits get used till they just don't cut cleanly.Sometimes I'll save a used 120 or 220 and cut it into strips for sanding the rounds on handles with the blade in my knifevise. Take care!
