Someone made the request that I post some pictures of the construction of my grinder so here goes.

Today I started out by getting together some misc. steel and water jetting my platen attachment plate.

Start out by laying out the part in the drawing software.

Then get your material loaded and secured, in this case I am using 1/2 inch 6061 aluminum plate.

Then you position the head in place, flood the table to keep noise and splashing water down and click the go button. About 4 min and 12 sec later you lower the water level to reveal a very sandy part.

After washing off the sand and blowing dry, I completely forgot to cut the slot in the first one to allow changing angles but I will throw it in the Hass and fix that issue at a later date.

That is all for now next I will assemble the tool holder and begin placing the standoffs on the base plate. Either tomorrow or Monday I will be placing a call to beaumont metal works to order the flange bearings, wheels, and pulleys.

Hello I'm new here and would enjoy following this!

So Please continue, I'd like to build one myself &
I'm very interested in watching someone else do it
step by step so I can figure out everything I need.

Thanks!
Mike E.
