It's a good machine but it's BIG.

If that's a 132" grinder, there is a guy at CKD that just came into a bunch of those belts. Maybe he'd be in the market for a grinder to go with them.:confused:

that looks almost identical to my first grinder. My was made by johnny hicks from lubbock though. We bought it off him and all his belts to go with it. It will eat steel like it is warm butter.
 
Have no clue as to the origin of the machine. The fellow I bought it from said it came from a man in Ohio if I remember correctly. Its a hogging machine for sure.

The thing that is so neat about it is that you can run belts from about 108" up to 132". The idler pulley and contact wheel or platen slides on a rail on top of the machine. This thing is a tank.

My forging is getting to the point where I just dont need it anymore. My shop is to small for this bohemoth. I'm sure I'll figure something ton put in its place though. Always happens.
