There's good free stuff available, save your $$ for grinder parts! 
Check out ths post at Don Fogg's forums about my grinder build. There's a fair emount of info there and some input from other folks as well (one of whom has an AWESOME set of plans drawn up for a KMG copy).
Feel free to ask any questions you have, and I'll do my best to answer them (as I'm sure other people will).
