With the recent questions about purchasing grinders I thought I'd post this link to a short pictorial I made on my grinder and some of the mods you might do so your grinder can be more versatile. Grinder Pics

Hey Art, that's a fine setup you got there. Not to poo on your post, but man - put something up over that exposed insulation. All that brown paper will poof in a second if a hot spark or somethign gets on it. I have a close friend who is a forensic fire investigator. He says that's one of the leading causes in domestic fires right now - leaving insulation uncovered like that. He recommends using only sheetrock against it (code in most areas I think), or at the very least, some plywood sheathing. Like I said, great pics, but I'd hate to see you suffer a mishap. that brown paper is nothing but a kraft paper with asphalt sprayed to the inside to hold the glass fiber to it. It'll go poof pretty quick if exposed to too much heat.

Safety, bro! :)

I knew I'd get some concern over the insulation :D . The pics are a bit old. all insulation has been covered by 5/8" fire-rated sheetrock. When I got the Little Giant I had visions of hot slag igniting the stuff. Not a good thought. Thanks for the concern. :)
