Grinding a bevel on a recurve blade with a jig

I am just getting started in knifemaking and am considering purchasing a bevel jig. Does a blade with a recurve present any problemswhen using a jig?

You’d use the edge of the platen vs the whole platen when grinding a recurve edge to the same thickness and grind will follow shape of recurve.

That's a great tip. I think, with that bit of info plus what I've seen on YouTube, I'll go ahead and purchase a jig. So much to learn!
