Grinding A2

I am going to make a knife, and I have decided to use A2. I ordered my .25x1.5x18 inch bar.

Any tips on grinding it? I know getting it too hot will only make it harder to grind, but anything else?

I would really appreciate some tips. Thanks folks.

you need to go over to knifeforums and the bark river sub forum. the owner of bark river hangs out there all day long and he is a genuis with A2 steel.
