I'm Close!!! Thom Brogan has a Delica with pics on this site somewhere. You can click his name and view his previous posts to find it. The amazing thing about his work is that it's a ZPD-189 model which is very difficult to grind. My VG-10 Endura looks about the same, but not nearly as pretty. The primary grind stops 1/3 of the way through the Spyder Hole - Almost all the way flat. I use mine for alot of light cutting and food work, so it is working great. I won't miss the extra beef.
To be honest I would not do it if you are at all concerned with the appearance of your blade. Thom's work is exceptional and not indicative of what you will achieve on your first try. The cutting performance is improved in certain situations, but for most it may not be very noticable. I have a waved Delica that I wish were thinner, but I'm not doing it again. It's at least 2-3 hours of work on a stone and then shaping the edge and finishing the blade. Have a pot of coffee!!
