I made the jig that Nathan is selling. I dont know why he wants to sell it but I will give some information on it. It works like a pendilum and the knife is clamped in and the pendilum swings across the wheel. It is endlessly adjustable and makes a perfect straight grinding line. It takes some experience to hollow grind and doesnt follow the curve of the edge as well as the vice type that costs alot more money. I make damascus daggers mostly now and am confident they will have great grind lines. It does flat and hollow grinds. It is adjustable enough to taper tangs also. The idea is like a lansky or edge-pro sharpening system where the blank is held at a given angle and passed over the wheel. When roughed out, the blank can be fine adjusted and finer grits used to minimize hand sanding. When one side is done simply hang the holder on the other hook and grind the other side. I have used mine for 12 years now but also have in that amount of time developed free hand skills. I still have trouble doing double edge freehand. Bruce
