Grinds on Older and Newer Espada?

After dithering way too long, I'm ready to order up an Espada in either L or XL. I'd like some comment on the older (hollow?) grind vs the newer flat grind. (Yes, I know they are two different steels, so that's not the question. I've never had problems with CS AUS8A.)

I'd especially appreciate comments from someone with both generations, in which case, a word or two about the tip profiles and cross-sections.

I have a large Espada Coyote Brown with flat grind. It's a nice grind, not too thick but certainly beefier than the old hollow grind.
