Hi Y'all,

Relating to recent discussions on chisel-grounds, and Puukkos, I'm looking for a custom tactical folder with a single-bevel, possibly a very shallow hollow-ground, double-ground blade. Obviously this would favor sharpnes over strength, any opinions on makers, prestanda ?

Best wishes, Staba-san

Folder? Don't know about that. But, if you are interested in fixed blades at all, I think that JSP Bladerigger does sort of what you are looking for.

Staba-san, look at Bud Nealy's new Y2K model. It's a fixed blade, but might suit your needs. Very, very efficient cutter. I handled one at the Chesapeake show last month and was very impressed. It has two different grinds on each blade face. Very pointy, very light weight. And his kydex carry system is really good.

Good luck in your search! I haven't seen anything like that. It would be a great knife as you described it. I know Loveless favored the hollow grind for his fighters, according to "How To Make Knives" anyway. Neat book I just bought. Oh yeah, I didn't get one but that was a nice Xmas gesture you made. You are a nice guy.

I'll be sure to check out Bud Nealy's knives. I've heard much poistive about them

Best wishes, Staba-san
