O.K. boys, What do you think of the "Ugly Warden" now? I tried to include a little of the old school straight handle knives by using black linen micarta, adding a birds beak end, and sculpturing the handle. I couldn't due a lot with the blade because of what little was left from the original bad grinding, so I just rounded the top a little. It is now a useful and unique knife (well, at least in my opinion). The following are a picture flow of the process, let me know what you think.
The new scales are rough cut out, mounting holes drilled and counterbored for the solid fasteners.

The scales are then glued on and fasteners attached.

The scales are rough ground for some general shape.

This is close to being done.


Here it is finished, the micarta is actually a little darker than the picture shows.
