Hey everyone. Just wondering if anyone knows from experience, which between the griptilian and 930 kulgera would take more of a beating and still look nice (blade and handle....mostly handle). Just curious. thanks folks.

the thin blade of the kulgera worries me a bit but i would say it would hold up as well or better. It is hard to beat a grip for overall durability though.

The Kuglera is a bit new for real life experience.

I doubt, the Grip can be judged by one or two who were chipping, regardless of the cause.

Which one holds up best is going to depend upon who is using it to a large degree and what they are doing with it. Neither the Grip or the Kulgera were intended to be prybars, axes and so on. Cost does not equal quality.

Likewise quality does not mean that a knife was designed for heavy tasks. I wouldn't want to do landscaping or carpentry work with a William Henry at my side, but they're fantastic knives.

The right tool for the right job. ;-)

Thanks for the replies. Yeah i'm not talking about doing anything out of the ordinary. Just about the wear that happens from carrying in your pocket, dropping, using, etc.

only problem is i had S30v steel chip after dropping it, but that was on pavement so i guess that would happen to any knife.
