What do you guys do to keep the action smooth? I carry mine 5 days a week and have noticed it's starting to feel a little rough when opening. The knife gets used hard, think heavy equipment, shop setting.

Folders can get gummed up. Pocket lint and dust can accumulate and slow things down. Once in awhile I give my users a bath in hot soapy water. (think Dawn detergent,) then using a pipe cleaner and old toothbrush, followed after rinsing by a hair dryer set to low. A couple of drops of your favorite lube like Tuf-Glide can help to smooth things; and food-grade mineral oil is good if the knife is used for any food prep.

Thanks for the tip

Yep...

Try a drop of benchmade blue lube near the pivot. I bet that will make it smooth again. That's what I use and it works great. Its fairly cheap too. You can order a bottle on line.

Remove pivot screw and take the blade and the washers out.. Polish/clean the washers, and reassemble with some lube.
The water trick will only get you so far.
