Just curious if anyone has any feedback for me on a full grip with s90v? Almost pulled trigger on it and wondering if anyone had any experience with s90v

As an experienced beginner lol, I have the 550 bm grip with s30v, great knife but not as sharp as i would like.
My 556 mini grip IS 156CM, like it better.

I am very fond of my Amicus. The S90V reprofiled easily enough with my DMT Aligner and touches up quickly on a Sharpmaker. It takes a bit longer than S30V but that is to be expected. I’ve had no issues with chipping. I don’t think Benchmade runs S90V as hard as Spyderco does which may explain my sharpening experience being different to Silent’s.

I’d be very happy if more S90V was used.

Same situation for me, very hard to sharpen(for me), 556 mini is better.

I've never had s90v but I don't think I would like it. I have a custom shop in M4 and I like it pretty well.

I like the S90V blades. As long as you don't need to completely re-profile the blade or remove a bunch of material they are easy to touch up with a ceramic rod and a leather strop. I use the blue Worksharp one we sell. They can get back to shaving sharp in a few minutes with that method. Just stay on top of maintenance and it works great.

I have a full size in s90v. I like the light stonewashed look it has to it. If you mean business for your cutting tasks, I’d go for it... I’d definitely get the G10 + standoffs that come from the custom shop as well for that nice open design.

Thanks for the replies and feedback everyone. I think i will because ya know we’re on a website about knives lol.
