I get it that Busse and Kin knives come with a wait. They are totally worth it. The waiting is part of the deal and I am bought in to 99% of the process.

The remaining 1% of the process I have to deem cruel and unusual. A true test of my patience that could be easily avoided.......UPS GROUND!!!!!!!!

My current UPS Quantum View showed up on 4/30 with a 5/6 delivery date. Oh the agony!!!!!!

Man! The only "Quantum" involved in UPS ground service it the quantum leap back to a time where it took 6 days to get across the country!!!!! My blades may as well be on a stage coach!

Oh well. Totally worth the wait. Drinking early!!!!!!!

Worst part is when it is sitting in your town ALL weekend and they only deliver Mon-Fri

They get lots of grief, but I believe USPS quicker..;-)

After spending several hundred bucks on a knife, I don't know why I don't spend a few more to have it FedEx'd.

UPS got my Ganza order to my house in one day from Wauseon. I left the house today for maybe half an hour to run an errand. Guess when UPS came to visit? Now I have to wait another day...

I'm in Canada.... I have nothing but good things to say about USPS. I track my packages until they near the border and then use the same tracking code to continue with the Canadian postal service. Great service on both sides of the border .... I see no use for UPS.

I got the notice on Monday and I should get it by Thursday not sure if one or two are coming. I guess we will see

Ha I just got a FedEx notice, it's going to take a week to go from Utah to Nebraska!!! WTH it only has to cross Colorado! Been waiting on my pack since February! Guess it doesn't matter since I'm out of town. But still, a week to go from Utah to Nebraska is ridiculous!

Some of us are in Australia. Stop being a wuss :D

Thanks Rob. Good call on being a wuss on this one.

And to be honest when I saw this this morning "05/06/2015 4:57 A.M. Out For Delivery" the wait seemed very short!!!!!!

You haven't lived until you get THIS one from UPS...
Train Derailment with a big yellow "EXCEPTION" banner...

Yup.... Everything arrives via boats.... And Australia bound ships are prohibited from using the Panama Canal ;)

... What's an extra week, or so, delay when Aussies wait a year for regular deliveries :D

Both UPS & USPS have problems at times – I have had boxes crushed by both. In one instance, plenty of newspaper used as extra packing material helped prevent a knife from possibly being lost from where the box was torn. Careful packing also helps keep a knife from being damaged even when the package is mishandled.
