I was just reminded of this knife, the design appeals to me but I don't recall seeing any user reviews and when I googled it people talked about the design but not how well it functions as a user. Anyone have any input?

Pros:
- It's light and fairly slim (compared to the ET).
- I like the flipper and the ability to close it quickly.

Cons:
- The scales are rather slick. I never got around to using or carrying it but I wonder how well the clip would hold the knife in place given this.
- The 'thumbstuds' are actually stop pins. If you try to open it with them you'll foul the opening because your thumb will get in the way of the mechanism.
- If you grip the knife hardest at the butt it will stay open. If you grip it incorrectly--hardest at the choil--it can still close on you, and the choil isn't substantial enough to prevent your being cut if the blade is pushed down hard.
- A reviewer at the book site noted how cheap it felt. After all the build-up and delays (to say nothing of the cost), I have to agree.

Overall, I was disappointed. If you're still curious, e-mail me if you want to trade for it. Mine's the black bladed version.
