Recently I bought some G10 scales for my three favorite knives, my 7, 16 and 14. Got em the other day and slapped em on. Wow. These things are fantastic. More traction than the standard Becker offerings and because they're solid they alter the balance point (slightly) back towards the handle which makes the knife feel more weildly.

Earth camo for the 7.

Black with red liners for the 16..

..and green and black for the 14.

I think the scales on the 14 made the biggest difference. It was wrapped with paracord prior to getting these and whilst I had wrapped it pretty well, these scales just make it a whole new blade. Super stoked. Highly recommend at least checking them out..

Springy..

Springy they look superb! must have cost you your first child with the exchange rate for those. been eying off the earthy colour for a while but the missus says go orange, meanwhile i keep buying timber scales from Tommy.

Love em mate, great looking steel.

Nice!

I figured the earth camo would be darker but I think the green and black look darker. Been thinking about a set for my bk9, was leaning towards the earth camo but now I might get the green and black.

Thanks for posting the pics.

Thanks Gas. Yeah they cost a bomb hey. I also opted for the more expensive postage too. On the plus side, they got here really quickly! The next set of scales I'm getting are from Tommy though. They look so dang cool.

Funnily enough Cold One I was most looking forward to seeing the Earth camo scales but when I unpacked them I then wished I had have gotten all three in the green and black. Still, not complaining. The other two look really cool as well. There is another one which is sort of a combo of the green and black and the earth camo called Mil-Spec camo. They look really sweet.

The red lines on the 16 really set it off. Excellent choices, sir.

Thank you my friend. Yes the more I look at the 16 I've got them on the more I like it. I actually didn't think they were going to come pre-attached but I'm glad they did as it made the scales much easier to fit.

Sexy stuff there bro! I'm having an acid flashback looking at that 7 haha! I bet it was a wallet buster but damn, that's reeaal nice! I bet it feels as good as it looks.
Serious knife porn. Soo much good stuff being posted around here lately. Thanks for these pics!

No worries bruz. Yeah I have to keep fondling them, they feel that good. Licking them doesn't make the flashbacks any more potent though. Just tastes weird.. It's the 14 that blows my mind though. It's like a whole different knife now! I've really gotta get some tools so I can make those puppies my 'own'. Got some cool ideas (have been done before though) and I can't wait to start taking off coating and steel. You lot will be the first to see, believe me!

Yes, i must agree, this 16 with red liners seems just fantastic.
And must be really more grippy and comfy.
Who's is that, if You can tell the maker?

Thanks for sharing!

Endel.

Cheers Endel. Yes they are very comfy mate and they do offer more traction than the originals. I like the divot toward the blade in the 16. It gives you a little spot to put your thumb when you hold the blade on the side for precise work.

A place called The Knife Connection makes them. There are lots of different patterns and colors to choose from and they have styles for all the Becker knives. Except the 11 I believe.
