Here's a viable alternative to a Pro-Tech TR3 Camo auto...the new Kershaw Blur in s30v. Both have high friction handles to avoid that embarrasing "oops my knife is flying through the air" situation when you snap them open, both have DLC coated blades (I think for the Kershaw) and both are well balanced with razor sharp edges. I can detect little difference in opening speed between the two. And the Kershaw is legal in most places. The Pro-Tech is on top, the Kershaw on the bottom.

Nice picture, but way too wide. If you post so large a picture, put the accompanying text in a following post, so we don't have to ping-pong back and forth to read it.

Reads perfectly fine for me as well. I don't have a widescreen monitor. I think you need to up your resolution a bit Esav ;)

The picture only takes up 2/3's of my screen, but I'm running 1600x1200 on a 20.1" monitor. Most people run their resolution at 800x600 or 1024x768, so the above image would result in most people having to scroll the page from side to side to read the post. :)

Where can you find the Blur in s30v? I checked the Kershaw site...but couldn't find it anywhere. I am going back and forth between buying a Heat or a Blur and the s30v may tip the scales back in favor of the Blur.

Now if they make the S30V Blur with a plain edge, I may have to get one. I'm just not a fan of partial serrations in general. The old Blurs I've handled were very well made. I don't like the extremely grippy texture but I know it has a purpose. Overall a great knife.
