Grips for Desert Tan Combat Bowie

I have an older tan BK-9 and noticed that the grips have been scratched a bit and I see that it is black underneath. I thought these grips were tan all the way through, but did they just take the regular black ones and paint them tan? Curious.

Anyways, I may just upgrade to the micarta grips I've been hearing about. However they seem to be popular and not readily available. Anyone have a source?

you can just get more paint and spray some on or rubber-tex, or something...

or go micarta. plenty of sources. Sir Google should find you some, or use the forum search thingy and see past articles (heck, last week) on this very topic. vendors are named. etc. etc.
