Griptilian 551

Great knives lots of colors blade steels and blade shapes.all around great blades.can't go wrong.

I have a 550, 551 H20, 555. I prefer the sheepsfoot blade with Spydee hole.

For me, they are lightweight, fun to open and close, have better than average blade steel, excellent handle ergonomics, and traction. Offered in "rust proof" steel, as well.
Some people complain about the prices, "cheap" feeling plastic handle, and the assisted opening spring being prone to breakage. I have been aggravated by poor blade centering on one of mine. Mini-grips are too small for my tastes.

A real workhorse, won't regret it, have mine when they first came out. Gary

Pros:

Great knife that features the strongest lock on the market, with premium steel (154cm), and excellent ergos. Benchmade's warranty is the best in the business.

Cons:

Full size grip has partial liners which aren't a big deal. FRN handles don't feel as premium as G10 but are hella strong and wear well.
