Griptilian and Mini-Griptilian Question

Ok, I realize this may be a stupid question, but here goes:

I was just looking online at some Benchmade Mini Griptilians and noticed that they're going for about 80 bucks online. I picked up my own Mini Grip about 2.5 years ago for 70 bucks in a gun store, which was basically full MSRP.

The question is: Have there been any changes to the knives, or is this just a simple case of inflation?
 
Benchmade also limited who they will sell their knives to and how much they have to charge for it a couple years ago. That raised the prices a bit.
