Griptilian clip swap

Has anyone ever swapped the clips from a full size Pika and a full size Griptilian?

This thread talks about a Mini Pika to Mini Grip swap. So would it work similarly for the full sized versions? I recently broke the clip on my full size Griptilian and was wondering if I should just ask Benchmade for a Pika clip.

As a note of general interest I found that the clip from my Byrd Meadowlark will fit decently on the Griptillian.
 
someone (I wish I could give credit) swapped a fullsized Pika on a Mini Grip and had to mod. the Pika clip by squezing the mounting holes closer together. Hope that helps.

I also have found some Spyderco and BM clips interchange fairly well.

As a side note, I thought most BM clips were the same size. (ie. Grip and Mini Grip and 940 and 960 and 732 and etc.....)
 
Most of the Blue and Black class clips are the same size, with exceptions on a few like the 610 Rukus and the 690 and maybe a few others. The red class clips only have two screw holes and the Blue and Black class have three.
 
Come on doesn't somebody have both a Grip and a Mini Grip? I am wondering about this because I recently broke the clip off of my Griptilian. I was wondering if I should just ask Benchmade for a Pika clip instead of another Grip clip.
 
Yes, the clips from the full size grip and mini grip are interchangable! The clip from the Pika will not fit.
 
Thanks MJR! So technically I should be able to but a Mini Pika clip on my Grip but not a full size Pika clip. Guess I will just ask BM for a Grip clip. If I really need a low ride clip I can go the STR route.
 
You can squeeze the holes together on the full sized Pika and make it work. Someone here (BF) did this and posted pics.
