I cant decide between these two knives so I wanted to know what you guys think. Thanks.

Paramilitary 2...no question. Just buy it and you will have no regrets. Almost a perfect EDC. IMO (and many others) at least.

both are solid edc blades... i love how my paramilitary feels in hand but i prefer my axis lock sheepsfoots grip over it. just my 2cents

I was so-so on Benchmades till recently but have started liking them a lot more recently (and have gone on a bit of a buying binge). But while I like my Grip and Mini Grip (and plan on adding the Ritter varieties in 2012), the Para 2 may be my absolute favorite folding knife. Only the Superleaf comes close. So I have to vote for the Para 2.

Grip has better lock but para has better blade profile it will out cut than grip. That's just what I think

I've had multiples of both knives. The Grip is a great knife and will probably handle anything that a 3.5" folder should try to do. I sold mine off because they were just too thick for my taste. I prefer the feel of Spyderco's flat handle sides and the G10 on Paras. I also like the simplicity of a compression lock over the spring activation of an AXIS lock. If it matters to you, remember that you're limited to TU carry with Grips while the Para 2s are 4-way carry.

Para 2 hands down. Better blade steel, better grind, better handle material, and better ergonomics. All just my opinion, but I would say that most others would agree.

I like my para2 a bit more than the Ritter Grip, but in the woods I give the Grip the nod.

I have two paras, love my Ritter and will have a regular grip too at some point. Both are great blades imo.

para 2, ergos are nice, i like the lock, i like the color styles, and i like the weight

grip's are way too rounded for my liking it feels like I'm carrying a corn dog in my pocket it just never fits right so i owned one only for a short time. don't get me wrong its a great knife but not for me

I have bought 3 or 4 higher end Benchmades and never use them but the Grip just keeps finding its way into my pocket. I have 7 Paramilitary's and it is by far my favorite Spyderco knife. The only drawback to me with the grip is I just don't like the plastic cheap feel of the handles. It is plenty sturdy but just has this hollow cheap feel to it. They are both very nice knives but if I had to pick one it would be the Para.

There's no comparison. The Grip compares better to an Endura in my opinion. The Paramilitary 2 compares closer to the Benchmade 710. So between the two you mention, the Paramilitary 2 by a mile.

If it's a Ritter grip with a custom handle, that one. If it's between a regular griptilian and a regular para 2, para 2 all the way.

I love the griptilian, but I do think the handle could stand to be better material if it wants to compete with one of Spyderco's most popular (and higher MSRP) knives.
