Griptilian scales

Hey y'all! I'm looking at getting my first "good" knife as it were. My friend has a Griptilian which is what convinced me. However, I'm not a fan of the stock scales. Does anyone know of LEFT-HANDED capable aftermarket scales? I've been looking and haven't had much luck. Any suggestions are much appreciated!

Try building one through the custom shop on the BM site. All the grips are totally ambidextrous, no left hand/right hand. Here’s one I recently built with black G10 scales, turned out well.

Blade centering is perfect with absolutely no blade play. If you end up getting aftermarket scales you might risk these two problems and you probably won’t have any recourse as far as any warranty work since you’ve modified the knife.

I've ordered two sets of micarata scales from a guy out of Russia based on a recommendation I got here. I could not be happier with the purchase. The scales look amazing, fit perfectly, and came in within the time frame we discussed.

While the Grips (and most Benchmade Axis Lock knives) are totally ambidextrous, many of the aftermarket scales are only drilled out to mount the clip for right side carry. I'm lookin' at you, Flytanium. KSF (Knives Ship Free) offers a fairly limited selection of Grip scales drilled both sides. Also, Keyman and DOAT (Death of all Things) on this forum make custom scales that they'll set up however you want.

The scales I ordered from Igorded. He's a Russian maker who will customize the scales and clip location to wherever you'd like.

My M4 Grip has DOAT G10 scales. They're set up for ambi clip locations. You'll probably have to order it that way, but it isn't a problem to get the scales set up for the clip on either side.
