Griptilian Silver Screw Question

I was wondering if someone could answer a quick question for me.

I have had Grips and Mini Grips with the Black Screws, and the round piece behind the Pivot Screw appears to be Black Plastic.

From photos, it looks like the models with Silver Screw have a metal piece that the Pivot Screw goes into. Is that correct?

Thanks all!

I'm not sure I understand your question entirely, the pivit screw is a Chicago style bolt, so yes the pivot screw screws into a metal piece. I have never taken a grip apart, only a 300sn, 950, 940 and they had metal pivot screws, so I'm 99% sure the grip would be the same.

I'll try to post a picture of the piece. It's the round circle part on the opposite side of the Pivot Screw. I think on my Mini that this is plastic, which is fine, but it looks like the silver screw versions may be metal. I just am curious. I doubt it makes much difference one way or the other.

it should be metal, as that is the back side of the pivot pin, unless I am mistaken.

Thank you all. I'm guessing on the models with silver hardware it is bare metal and colored on the black.
