Griptilian with Gersh blade

I really like the Benchmade Griptilian. The FRN handle was criticized because it feels a little cheap but I like its thickness and contouring compared to a flat G10 handle.
The full size Griptilian is perfect for my use-case and I collected several variants over the years.

I just received a version with a blade from "Gersh Blades" made in Magnacut (63-64 HRC).
It's a super sharp beautiful blade but with a full flat grind and needle-like point it's not a knife for batonning. I'm glad I selected Magnacut steel with its improved toughness compared to S30V of the production version.

Gersh blade on the front compared to the classic Benchmade drop point on the back.

With the Doug Ritter version and the Cuscadi acid wash-micarta version, this new Gersh Blades is my third variation on the Griptilian theme.

Nice! I found the CM154 blade on one of my Grippies too thick to cut efficiently; the blade of the other, in D2, is thinner and cuts better. Your Gersh Blades model looks like a great slicer.
