I've owned 3 griptilians.

The first a 550. I have no idea what became of it. I was sure it was in a room in the house I was remodeling, but it disappeared at the time the room was completely gutted and cleaned out. Hard to lose it ther but I did.

The second is a Ritter Griptilian (552?). That one has stuck around for some reason.

The third is a yellow mini grip. It walked away two days ago out of my pants somewhere two days ago. I've gone through just about everything in the cars and house with no luck. I got yellow so it would be easy to spot. I guess that's why it picked fall to run away. Easier to hide among the colored leaves.

I feel your pain, I lost my beloved Spyderco Endura, started using my Delica while I ordered another Endura to replace my lost one. No sooner had the new Endura arrived when the missing one reappeared, in the pocket of another pair of pants. My story ended on a happier note than yours and I wish you luck. I hope the little yellow BM reappears for you.

not clipped in? gotta keep a chain on those rascals or they run off!

Hate to hear that and hope they come back soon. Did you treaded them nice and gave them enough cutting time;)

It’s my ‘big’ fear when carrying more expansive knives (over 50 euro). so I started carrying a Opinel and a SAK instead of my Delica 4 and LM new Wave.

My D2 minigrip dissapeared at a party I had my place. I've never lost a knife...I have a good 50 or so--I have the first knife I was given when I was six years old. I guess mistakes happen, it just seems bizarre... My GF (now ex!!! ) "lost" both the benchmades I got her...but we "found" one of them in a friend's backpack a few weeks later.......
