Griptillian replacement grips

So I just got a special edition griptillian with the CPM-M4. I really like the knife, especially the blade, however I hate the feel of the plastic grips. Is it possible to replace them affordably? I'm not looking for anything fancy, just something in G10 or micarta or aluminum would do just fine.

Update: I was playing with it while typing and just cut xxx xxxx xxx xx myself. borderline hospital trip type cut. Went into the side of my thumb and was only stopped when it hit the nail after going through the side to get there.

I saw that, but at 140 euros plus what I imagine would be sizeable shipping, I might as well buy another knife.

I really like the Wilkins Grips. They're not cheap, and they're pretty limited in selection (he only makes limited batches at a time). Cuscadi makes custom grips as well with several materials and colors to choose from. They're a bit cheaper than the Wilkins Grips. For the most part, the Cuscadi grips preserve the shape/contours of the original Griptilian, whereas the Wilkins Grips changes the look and feel of the knife significantly (and for the better, IMO).

Wilkins are considered some of the nicest but hard to come by and certainly pricey. If you want to get some scales in various materials then CUSCADI will do them for less than 80 Euros. I've had a couple sets made and they are very high quality.

Here are my latest in OD "Vintage" Micarta.

Sorry to hear you cut yourself bad
The little buggers certainly are sharp, i would certainly be interested in those cuscadi micartas

Do a search on this forum for "Keyman". He just made me some dark brown micarta scales that are the bomb. Have a great day, Mike

Things like this happen, I put some iodine on it, then changed the bandage later and put neosporine on it. If it still looks bad tomorrow, I might go in an see if I need stitches. I'm impressed by how deep it went considering it wasn't a slice. It was simply from closing it on my thumb with finger pressure. I'll have to look up keyman. Even though 80 Euros is a lot cheaper, I'd rather spend a little more and just have another knife. The plastic isn't terrible, I think I'm just spoiled from the Presidio.

How possible is it to move the blade from one knife to another? I just bought a presidio with the 440C blade for cheap. I'm going to try to put the Griptillian blade into it.

I guarantee you that will not work. As for custom scales, I only have experience with cuscadi, but they are excellent. Easy to deal with, and do excellent work.
