Hello everybody, I’ve got a few questions regarding different sharpening stone. Right now I have a 320 grit diamond plate and a 600 grit diamond plate for the work Sharp guides sharpening system. I’m looking at expanding and getting more. Here is what I am looking at: Tye upgrade kit for the worksharp guided sharpening system(200 grit and 800 grit), a DMT extra fine plate, a dmt extra extra fine plate, and the wicked edge diamond strop compounds(5, 3.5, 1, 0.5 micron. My questions regarding this setup are: Will I be able to whittle a hanging hair, should I get the Spyderco Fine and ultra fine stones instead of the DMT’s, and what should I use the strop compound on.
