Its been a long time (close to 20 years ago) when I started pricing out a new 10 inch contact wheel for my Wilton 2X72 grinder. The prices were far more than I could afford until I spoke with the folks at Texas Knifemakers Supply. They had very reasonable prices (less than half price compared to the other quotes) and they shipped it to me in very little time. I am still using that contact wheel and the bearings are holding up just fine.

You might want to contact RW Wilson about a 10 inch wheel and bearing setup that he has available. Does a nice job but max 3100 rpm I believe. Mike

i'm a machist so i don't have a big problem in making whatever i need. but that wheel was so cheap that i could mod it and save alot. but if its die casted or really thin or th rubbers to hard thn i would have a problem. dos anyone know where online i could get so rubber.

I ordered Grizzly"s ten inch wheel earlier this year. Other than a minor truing it works fine. The rim is already balanced and the hub has enough meat to machine in bearings, about 1" thick at least. The wheel is intented for direct drive off the motor spindle(5/8) with washers and nut.Looks like it's cast alluminum. I also thought of mounting bearings in one to use on my Bader. Looks like it would work. Can't beat the price.

I have one that has been sitting around for about five years. I put it on once for two minutes and it made the belt run waaaay too fast. It hasn't been used since. I will make you a deal on it-send me an email.

I have one. Like Steve I decided it ran the belt way to quick and switched back to the 8". 10" is better dimensionally for the larger hollow grinds, but I do all flat now, I find I'm more comfortable with them than hollow. The price is great, good to go out of the box (balance and all).

I would like one of these grizzly 10" wheels. If one of you guys wants to get rid of yours or have the Grizzly number I would appreciate it. I live within 30 miles of a Grizzly outlet. Luck me. I have a few things to trade or cash. Thanks Jim
