Well, my Grizzly motor has to go back to Grizz;y. The bearing are fubar'd. I was hoping to avoid the curse of the Grizzly and non existent quality control, but I was wrong. I better have the new motor by the time I go back for Thanksgiving break or i will ask for a discount and refund for shipping. I wait 2 months, and they send me a bad motor.

Sorry to hear this Tim!! Shame theres no way you could just send it back and save up the $895 for a Wilton.

Always think of your fellow knife makers as partners in the search for the perfect blade, not as people trying to compete with you and your work!

Geeze Taz there just isn't any end to it is there? I'm sorry to hear about all your woes but really appreciate you posting them. I guess it was more good luck than good management that I dodged that bullet.

Yeah, you got lucky Rob! I called them today, and they said i should have a new motor in about a week or so, so hopefully they have them in stock and can ship them quickly!

Hey there Taz
Just be patient. It took me about 6 weeks after the machine came to get everything back and forth with Grizzly and get it set up.
It is worth it! They will make it right, eventually.
I think this is the best tool for the money that I have ever owned
