Grizzly G1036 Slow Speed Grinder Question

Does the grinder in question have any useful purpose in the bladesmith shop?
A 10" dia. stone @ 70 RPM in a water bath.When I say useful purpose I mean in the material removal area of blade shaping,hollow grinding etc.Not just the sharpening of finished blades,curious to here of any experience's with this inexpensive grinder.

They can be used for sharpening, but the few I've seen are rather clumsy.

If you plan on being a knifemaker, you can do the same thing on your belt grinder, a lot easier, and you'll save that money to spend on a better grinder.

That is correct. I'd save the $$ for something better.
