Has anyone used the new Seig mill/drill yet? I know they are fairly new and Grizzly carries a slightly different model.

I like the dovetail column, table travel, z axis capacity and it accepts R8 collets. It is not a mini mill and the price is not too bad. I have read some very good reviews on it. If anyone has used one and has any feedback on it let me know.

The IRS is returning some of the money that they stole from me so I will be looking to upgrade. I do not want a mini- anything when it comes to mills, the Seig models are 350 lbs and can do alot more then mini's.

- more power
- 3x the weight
- R8 spindle same as in mini
- larger table and movements
- much larger max spindle to table distance
- I'd imagine large spindle to column
- one extra T in the table
- much easier to CNC-enable (more space for ball screws)
- much later model thus quality is much higher compared to quality of mini in its first few years
- no plastic gears to break (belt drive from motor, still some gears for Hi-Lo )
