Grohman knife sheaths

Anyone know the quality of the leather sheaths that come with their knives?

I'll second that. I have a #4 and the sheath is very well made. Nice thick leather, good welt, solid stitching, good retention.

The only catch is that some of the sheaths (like mine) have a retention strap that can sort of flop over and could get sliced up a bit if you are not careful. I've found that you can hold it back with your hand easily, and it becomes sort of a muscle memory thing... after a while you don't even think about it. Some folks don't like the factory #4 sheath, though, and end up getting another. YMMV

...Exactly correct......mine has a fine cut.....good sheath all the same..........................FES
