I have had 3 Grohman fixed blades, still have two for some odd reason. The knives work and sharpen up well. I currently have two flat grinds. Great all purpose knives but the sheaths are a bit weak. The leather loop that attaches to the belt needs to be replaced. I have taken 9 oz leather strips and grommeted a proper belt loop onto the sheath. A better welt may be necessary and this just means cutting the old one out and fashioning a new one and restiching. Then rewet mold the "old" sheath with the "new" grommetted new belt loop on. Good using knife with a durable sheath. Soak in bees wax x Neatsfoot oil after the rewetting is dry (24 hours at room temp please) and you are finished. I reground the edge to the angle I like for this type of knife and it is now a daily user in the woods. Now I have 4 knives at good prices that replace all the stuff I have collected over the years: Groman flat grind, Queen D2 flatfrind (haven't quite figured out which is better - but one has to go), Queen D2 Whittler, and a Wayne Hensley (purty as a picture) little fixed blade (makes me feel like I am somebody with this little Hensley knife.) Now just have to start making my own knives.
