Hi,
I have this Grohmann #4 Survival knife (regular grind & stainless steel) since 8 years. I love it, it was a gift from my beloved wife. The rosewood handle is gorgeous, but it was one of the worse factory edge I've ever seen and I did not like the false edge (useless for me). So I've decided a few modifications :
- Convex edge to zero;
- False edge removed and more elegant elliptical curve;
- Rounded back and talon for comfort;
- Handle polished with super fine Steel Wool (Grade #0000), and soaked into linseed oil during 3 weeks.

After :

Regards.
