Blades are O-1, tempered at 400F. Full flat grind, convex sharpened edge.

Handles are black linen micarta, tan canvas micarta, and desert ironwood with red or black vulcanized spacers, mosaic pin, and SS lanyard tube. Black linen handles were finished to 800 grit hand sanded finish, canvas micarta to 400 grit, and ironwood to 2000 grit with a light buff. All handles also finished with Danish oil.

Sheaths are custom kydex with 2" hole pattern. Clip can be attached differently for multiple carry positions such as vertical, horizontal, small of back, etc.

Oh, by the way, if you missed it, here's the work-in-progress thread following the creation of these knives.

Here's an on-the-waistband pic. Very comfortable ride, if I do say so myself.

This is my first post in the gallery forums since upgrading to a maker's membership. This is also posted in the shop talk forum. Sorry about the double post. I posted in shop talk before I remembered that I can post here now. Thanks for the look. Gettin' hitched in less than 10 days!!

Fabulous looking knives. Perfect for EDC.

Thanks! That's exactly what I tend to lean towards for most of my knives. I prefer a knife that I can EDC comfortably and conceal easily under an untucked shirt. That's why I typically go for a shorter handle that terminates at the meat of your palm by your little finger. Very secure in grip, especially for push cuts, but low key and very little printing against your shirt or digging into your side.

For campers, choppers, and other working knives, I opt for a full size handle.

Thanks again for the compliments!

Those are some fine looking knives.

Oh and FYI, I am available as an alternate groomsman if anyone gets sick or something. :)

I use high gloss tung oil on all my micarta knives so far. Is danish oil better? I am fairly new to this and use tung oil, because it is what i have handy. Just wondering what everyone else uses and why. Excellent looking knives, and great material choice.

Thank you all for the comments! I truly value opinions given in these forums as I've learned such a great deal from all of the makers who have posted here.

CANMANSTAN, I can't comment on the tung oil vs. danish oil as I'm in the same boat as you, using what I have on hand. I believe both will finish up well.

Thanks again, everyone!
