Grooved blades

Hey y'all,

I'm new to Kershaw, and right now I'm drawn to the grooved blades as seen in the Groove and the Zing. Are there any other models that feature this design?

Also, can anyone share some experience with using/sharpening the grooved blades?

after i stonewashed this blade it was past dull, basically blunt. 10 minutes on the sharp maker and it was hair popping. Absolutely no problems with sharpening.

The grooves are purely aesthetic, the have no bearing on use/sharpening.
