Very Cool knife I think I just got the groove to buy one! How's it feel with opening it smooth or hard or is it as fast and smooth as a Kershaw Seagal?

I love the way it looks and its size but how is it as a knife? A real user or safe queen/

The opening will depend on how much force you apply with your finger along with any wrist action you might add. It can snap open hard and fast, or more gently with a soft click. In either case, it's very smooth.

Edited to add in response to Hammer27: I've only had it 24 hours, haven't cut much with it other than some blister packs, but it's a solid framelock that should work well as an EDC. You could stick it in the safe, but for the street price on these I don't see any reason not to use it and enjoy it.

Good weather today indeed. I live in Mass. also and today was a well received break from our recent weather. Nice knife also.:D

Black Flag: Glad you are enjoying your Groove. You and voppa need to come and visit my workshop.....

Thanks for the pics and info! I certainly like this folder its has nice lines a solid look and I assume feel to it and a great looking pocket clip (Unlike the Spec Bump and the JYD) the G10 insert is also an attractive looking piece, all in all a respectable looking knife with great ergo's and a nicely contoured grooved blade! I just snagged one on Ebay for $50.00 Boy I can't wait!

RJ if you name the day I'll bring the snacks. Bridgewater's only 20 minutes from me.

I received your email and sent a response. Thanks.

Nathan

EDIT: Email bounced back to me, will try again. If you don't get it, Saturday @ 10 is fine for me.

Got to visit with RJ at his shop for about 1 1/2 hours this morning and it was great. I learned a lot about many things, and had fun seeing various parts and materials. If there's a knifemaker that's nearby to you and you have the chance to visit, do it.

Thanks again RJ, I appreciate your taking the time to have me over.

Nathan
