sorry about the bad pun for a title, but anyway, as you can guess this thread is about the groove. all i can say is thank you Mike ;)

anyway off to the review.

first impression: small big knife. its is a good size knife in a tiny package, at least in my opinion. feels good in the hand and the g-10 is very grippy. very fast opener. fairly sharp (i think its funny that whenever i get a knew knife, be buying one, or winning one, i will always compare sharpness to the Lahar).

more detail

edge: like i said, fairly sharp. i have never seens such a wide edge to a kershaw. now i know some of you will consider that a problem. don't consider it as one though. it will destroy boxes with ease. push cutting though, it sucks at. that simple. however going through things while making cutting motions, it is awsome.

opening: very smooth, and fast. leek fast. nuf said

F&F: very nice and proper. very well done kershaw.

things i have already changed: i took the scale off the clip side. it was way to hard to get in and out of a pocket with the scale there, at least in the pants i was wearing. of course those pants are what i wear usually, so this should work better. thats about it.

Great Job to Kershaw!!!!!! once again of course :D :D :D :D :D :D

I tweaked it so it would open faster. :D

glad you got it. That was quick too.
I sent the Groove instead of a Leek or Chive or a small knife
because I knew you liked the Offset probably because you
have larger hands like me.

Use it. That's what it is for.

Of course I will use it :D I have already destroyed a box.

you tweaked it huh? interesting lol.

yeah, large knife a good thing. very good thing. i like my leek, but it is a bit small for bigger jobs. the groove will be sharing duty with the Needs work and JYD2. these Sandvik blades are awsome!

i forgot to mention the lock!

it is a frame lock, which locks up very nicely. it could possibly be over a bit tighter, but it is still very sturdy.

I noticed that too, but I whacked on the spine with a ball pein hammer and it
wouldn't budge. :)
